About the event

The Essex Spiritual Centre will put their witches' boots on and walk with you as working mediums and paranormal equipment along the famous Witches Walk.

An Interactive, Actively Walking Event.  The Ground may not be suitable for disabilities depending on weather conditions which can not be promised.

The meeting will be at a location to be given after booking close to the event as when one knows all knows and this is very much a need to know to book!

You will be walking with mediums and equipment.   This is the second part of my Manningree Walk.   With a sold-out first event and communication from guests with Matthew Hopkins and John who knows what could happen here.   If you want to see some of the communication from guests and Matthew regarding what he knew of the witches and more pop over to my FB page https://www.facebook.com/PsychicReadingsNearMe and click the video tab.

This will be the second part from Mistley Towers.    There will be some up and downhill walking at this event.

There is plenty of evidence and literature however what we found is that Matthew knew in his heart that the witches murdered were not witches.  When asked by my guests if he had regrets he said: "Some"  So let us find out together what happened on this second part of my tour!

History

It has been reported many times on many many websites and historical documents that the ghost of Matthew Hopkins, the self-proclaimed Witchfinder General,  has been seen, especially on nights of a full moon.  However, with the group of mediums, you will be walking with we do not need full moons or new moons as we connect and raise the energy.   It is believed that Matthew is still in 17th-century clothing close to Mistley ‘ducking’ Pond.   Of course, sightings would say that and other events however let us find out together.   As, unlike other events, you will be investigating and walking and obtaining evidence yourselves.   The Mediums will guide you in to this event and support what you see, hear, feel and smell.   We do not need to put you in front of Ouija boards to gain knowledge of what happened here to witches.

Witches are said to have been hung here and The Essex Spiritual Centre Paranormal Team have an abundance of Witch Paranormal Events to be able to unravel the horrific events to natural-born healers,  our witches.

Matthew Hopkins was born in Great Wenham, Suffolk, possibly in 1620 if we communicate with Matthew we will find out about his life and who will know until the night. In the early 1640’s Matthew moved to Manningtree, Essex and managed Thorn Inn in Mistley with an inheritance he had just received.   We will find out about this Inn and why he purchased it and moved to Mistley given the opportunity.

The Middle Ages then was becoming increasingly paranoid about witchcraft so shortly afterwards he set out locally to pursue so-called ‘witches’ still believing in his ability as the Witchfinder General, the money was a big motivation in Matthew's misadventures.   But was it really?  or was it the thrill and attention why don't we find out together.

Manningtree became the last place that Matthew Hopkins laid his head,  this is where he died in his home on 12 August that same year as moving back to Essex.  The parish registry at Mistley confirms he was buried a few hours after his death in the graveyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin at Mistley Heath.  All that remains of this church site now are the two sentinel towers.   What happened to the Church and was it Karma we ask.    Having natural witchcraft working with herbs, the universe, the moon energy and more we can all understand how the women and men labelled witches hid and feared for their culture.

Join the real witches and mediums as we go in search of any history around the culling of witches here at this location.  During the walk, you will have the opportunity to use our gifts,  equipment and methods used in paranormal events with The Essex Spiritual Centre.   This is the ultimate walk as we are "The Real Deal" as seen on The Only Way Is Essex 2021.
